Help.....

There are some factors that need to be considered when designing your system. As a golden rule, the total wattage of all speakers in the system should NOT exceed the output wattage of the amplifier. You can combine different wattage speakers into the same system if you wish, but only if the combined power of all the speakers is not greater than the output power of the amp. You will find the transformers in some speakers have a number of wattage taps that you can select from, for example a 15w speaker might have 5, 10 and 15w taps. Select whichever is most appropriate to your needs, if you want to combine many speakers on the same line then it makes sense to use the lower wattage taps. You could have twice as many speakers driven from the same amp if you used the 5w tap as opposed to the 10w.

VoxGuard by Primacoustic is light weight and extremely easy to use. It starts with a high-impact ABS outer surround shell that snugs onto the mic stand using an included adapter to hold it in place. Light weight design makes positioning the VoxGuard easy without the usual fear of the stand falling over.

VoxGuard is effective when used with round base stands, tripods and even with large studio booms. Once mounted, an innovative rear access cable port allows the microphone to be articulated and directed at a specific source, thus enabling the VoxGuard to also be used as an acoustic screen.

Acoustic magic is performed by a high-density open cell acoustic foam liner. This absorbs the voice range while keeping room ambiance out to produce a dry rendering. The VoxGuard is 50% larger than comparable products, noise flanking is significantly reduced and performance vastly improved.

Primacoustic VoxGuard is ideal for recording studio vocals, voice-over tracks for film and TV post production, pod casting and field reporting.

VoxGuard employs well known acoustic principles to minimize room ambiance from entering the microphone allowing a greater percentage of the source to be captured without the echo, reverb and resonance from the room.

Eliminating The Sound Of The Space

Put up a microphone in a room and hit 'record'. The sound of the voice will compete with the sound echoing off the walls. These are known as primary reflections, flutter echo and standing waves. These will invariably arrive at the microphone after the original sound and depending on how loud they are, will cause varying degrees of phase cancellation known as comb-filtering.

When singing into the microphone, sound is captured by the mic while a good percentage of sound breezes by. In space, this 'extra' sound would go forever without echo as there are no boundaries. In an anechoic test chamber, sound is completely absorbed as there are no hard reflective surfaces. In this case, the VoxGuard's high density open-cell acoustic panel absorbs much of the energy in the critical voice range.

VoxGuard's curved outer shield is designed to reflect unwanted energy away while the larger size—upwards to twice as big as others —reduces flanking. This effectively creates a boundary that stops sound from coming back into the mic, reducing the ambient effect.

affel Material: SP-9010 ABS plastic shell, 3/16" (4.5mm) thickBlack with textured finish

Absorber Material: 1" High-density open cell acoustic foam,
2.2 lb/per cu-ft, charcoal color

Dimensions: 18" (wide) x 15" (tall) x 7.5" (deep)
457mm (wide) x 381mm (tall) x 190mm (deep)

Order Number: P300-0100-00

Mounting Hardware: Threaded mic stand adapter and knurled ring inluded.

For added flexibility, the VoxGuard has been designed with a cable access slot to allow typical dynamic microphones such as a ShureSM58 or Sennheiser MD412 to be used.

Recording Vocals In The Control Room

The most common application for the VoxGuard is using it to control the spill and reverberant field in a recording studio. Simply mount the microphone in the VoxGuard and you are set to go. For greater acoustic control, having the artist’s back to a treated wall surface can further reduce the ambient field. Often, artists find that singing in the control room to be uncomfortable. The VoxGuard provides an instant vanity screen.

Isolating An Acoustic Guitar Instrument Microphone

VoxGuard’s innovative design allows an excellent means of attenuating other instruments from spilling into the mic. Mount the VoxGuard onto microphone stand and the mic onto the VoxGuard… point and record! With VoxGuard you hear more of what you want and less of what you do not!

SE315 Shure Sound Isolating Earphones feature single High-Definition MicroDrivers for full range audio. The Tuned BassPort optimizes low-end performance utilizing a vented driver. A detachable, Kevlar® reinforced cable with formable wire allows for easy replacement and secure, comfortable fit.

Maximum Performance out of a single driver

The single driver of the SE315 is housed in a uniquely designed internal assembly. It delivers the maximum performance out of a single driver for a clear and pristine extended audio range – on-stage and on the go. It also has Tuned BassPort technology which optimizes the low end performance.

Sound Isolating Design

Sound Isolating Earphones were originally developed as Personal Monitor Systems to allow musicians to hear their own performances in loud onstage environments.
They work by using soft, flexible sleeves to block up to 90 % of the background noise. You can concentrate on your music, whether you are on-stage, in a train, on the street or working out. At the same time you can reduce the audio level to conserve your hearing.

Detachable cable with wireform fit

The SE315 features a durable Kevlar® reinforced cable that allows easy replacement or customisation. The formable wire ensures secure placement, and over the ear configuration keeps cables out of the way. The gold plated MMCX connector has a lock-snap mechanism allowing 360 degree rotation for comfortable fit.

An assortment of sleeves for individual fit

Because every ear is different, the Fit Kit includes an assortment of foam and silicone sleeves in different sizes. Experiment with the size and style that creates the best fit for you. A good seal is key to optimizing sound isolation and bass response as well as maximizing comfort during extended wear.

Features

Lightweight portable powered speakers with legendary QSC amplifier power and reliability

1000 watt continuous Class D power modules in all models

Extensive DSP enhances system performance

Attractive and professional appearance

Rugged ABS enclosures

Powder coated steel grille

Comfortable ergonomic handles

35 mm pole sockets with Tilt-Direct™ (fullrange models)

The QSC K Series is quite simply The New Standard in lightweight powered loudspeaker systems. Under the direction of Pat Quilter, QSC's team of amplifier engineers have created a new standard in Class D power modules unparalleled in the industry. Next, breaking from the traditional loudspeaker paradigm, every model is fitted with the identical 1.75" HF device (fullrange models) and woofers of the same high quality for unparalleled performance, regardless of speaker size.

Extensive DSP processing is employed throughout, providing levels of sonic clarity and total output that defy the system's size and weight.

Premium-grade materials, advanced construction processes and multiple mounting and suspension options allow for a wide range of live and installed applications.

Combo XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs accept both Mic and Line Level input while a set of RCA phono inputs (except KSub) allow additional connectivity to portable MP3 players, CD players and line-level mixers. Up to three audio sources can be mixed internally and summed to a balanced output for "daisy-chaining" of multiple units. Separate direct outputs are also provided on each channel for additional output flexibility.

On-board switches provide preset EQ settings. The HF setting (fullrange models) can be set to VOCAL BOOST for additional presence in the critical mid-frequency area or FLAT for accurate reproduction of the incoming signal. The LF switch can be set to NORM, DEEP™ for additional bass extension, or EXT SUB (fullrange models) for use with an external subwoofer. The rear panel LED switch can be set to POWER, illuminating the front-mounted LED when the unit is powered on, OFF for applications where it is not desirable to illuminate the front LED, or LIMIT which indicates to the system operator that the clip limiter circuit has been engaged during operation.

Fullrange models are housed in rugged ABS enclosures with a professional appearance that is at home in any application. ABS is a far more robust material than conventional speaker plastics and offers an additional measure of sonic clarity due to its internal rigidity. Ergonomic aluminum handles and a highly protective steel grille complete the package for ease of transport and long term durability.

The K Series fullrange models feature a unique Tilt-Direct™ pole cup mounting system. A simple turn of the dial engages a 7.5 degree downward tilt of the speaker allowing acoustic energy to be kept on the audience and off reflective surfaces for applications where maximum coverage from a high-positioned speaker is desired. Integrated M10 suspension points allow for suspended applications with a K SERIES M10 KIT (sold separately) or Yoke bracket (sold separately).

Extensive DSP

DMT™ (Directivity Matched Transition) provides for matched LF and HF coverage across the entire listening area, eliminating unnatural "dead" or "hot" frequency zones.

Intrinsic Correction™, first featured in our high-end line-array products maps 65-75 spacially-averaged measurements to IIR and FIR filters that actively adjust time, frequency and amplitude response to a maximally flat bandpass target. The result is a speaker that behaves equally well across the entire sound field.

DEEP™ and excursion limiting allow for extended low-frequency response by actively managing low-frequency transients without degradation of the underlying signal or adjacent frequencies.

GuardRail™ protection, first introduced on our GX Series amplifiers protects both the amplifier module and your performance from unnatural and destructive clipping.

The Australis measures a full 12" x 36" and is made from a solid block of high-density 1.7 lb open-cell acoustic foam. The large size and high density combine to deliver optimal absorption in the all important bass region.

The Australis works by trapping the random omni-directional bass energy that tends to cluster in corners and overwhelm the room. Quarter-wavelength calculations prove that Australis is particularly effective for studios that have modal problems in the 75Hz to 200Hz range. Once in place, it has the positive effect of reducing smear, giving bass more definition and punch while allowing recordings to translate better to other rooms.

The attractive wedge design allows easy placement in corners using the supplied impalers. For even greater bass absorption, Australis can be stacked, grouped to form a wall cluster, or placed edge-to-edge at the wall and ceiling seam. And as with all Primacoustic foam products, Australis employs a fire retardant to meet California 117 code. This makes the Australis an excellent choice for use in home studios, home theatre and music practice rooms..

Solid block of high density open cell foam for maximum absorption

Flexible wedge design is easy to mount in and corner

Effective from 75hz and up throughout the audio bandwidth

Helps control room modes and tightens bass response

Ideal for small rooms where modes are problematic

Australis bass trap is a corner mounted device that hangs in place using the supplied impalers. Installation is easy: All you do is screw the impalers into the wall surfaces using standard wall anchors then 'push' the Australis down so that it impales itself.

Once in place you will immediately notice the bass tightening up and a more even frequency response as you move around the room. For larger spaces or for those that want more bass attenuation, you can stack Australis traps on top of each other. The larger size not only increases low frequency absorption, but also lowers the effective cutoff point.

In spaces where wall to wall corners may not be available, you can mount Australis bass traps up high at the wall and ceiling junction. This requires using the impalers on the wall and then gluing the Australis to the ceiling using any standard construction adhesive.

The Australis can be mounted anywhere. And even though this is a bass trap, the Australis is very effective at also absorbing mid and high frequencies. This is why most people will mount the Australis at ear level where it will also serve to attenuate powerful primary reflections.

Jensen Transformer equipped passive DI

Eliminates hum and buzz from ground loops

Virtually zero phase & harmonic distortion

Exceptional signal handling and noise rejection

Radial JDI is a passive direct box designed to handle extreme signal levels without distortion of any kind. Unlike an active DI that is limited by the buffering amplifier’s rail voltage, the JDI employs a Jensen audio transformer as the engine. Jensen transformers are legendary in their ability to gracefully handle transients while delivering a smooth, warm sounding Bessel curve, reminiscent of the finest vintage gear. Ruler flat from 10Hz to 40kHz and with virtually zero phase deviation, the JDI delivers the natural, pure sound of the instrument without artifact.

The 100% passive circuitry inside the JDI is incredibly efficient. The transformer performs both high-to-low impedance conversion and signal balancing at the same time with minimal loading and does so without any power whatsoever. The transformer also introduces a magnetic bridge that passes signal while rejecting stray DC voltage. This makes the JDI particularly adept at eliminating hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

Features include input and throughput ¼” connectors, -15dB input pad, ground lift, and 180 degree polarity reverse to help phase align the instrument with the PA. A secondary circuit is added for direct interfacing with high output devices such as guitar or bass amp loudspeakers. And a unique merge function allows stereo sources such as keyboards to be summed mono, saving valuable input channels.

Built tough to handle the abuse of live touring, the JDI features a 14-gauge welded steel I-beam inner frame and a unique book-end outer shell. The innovative design eliminates stress on the PCB, reducing opportunity for solder joints to go ‘cold’ while the outer shell creates a protective zone around the switches and connectors. The steel casing resists noise-causing electromagnetic pollution and the transformer’s sensitive inner workings are further protected from magnetic fields with a mu-metal can. This ensures the signal transfer is quiet and free from hum.

These combined features have made the Radial JDI the most popular passive direct box in professional touring and an excellent choice for instrument interface in the studio!

Primacoustic London 8 is the perfect ‘studio in a box’ for those that have small rooms but plan on growing! It features a selection of 14 high performance Broadway panels for optimal sound absorption and maximum control.

Four Broadway 12”x36” Control Columns™ are typically positioned across the sound filed listening area to help reduce first order reflections and side to side flutter echo. This is augmented with eight Scatter Blocks™ that provide control over front to back flutter echo. These are set up in a random pattern that allows some energy to be absorbed while some is left free to reflect back into the room, resulting in a semi-diffuse field and effect we call Soft Diffusion™.

Mounting is super easy! The London 8 comes complete with all mounting hardware and screws. No messy glue or expensive clean up should you decide to move. You simply screw in the Primacoustic Surface Impalers™, and hang the panels like a picture. And as with all Broadway panels, these have been tested to meet stringent class-A requirements for safe use in public spaces.

The London 8 presents an ideal solution for smaller post production suites, gaming effects, voice over and home studios.

London room kits consist of select Broadway panels and mounting hardware. Acoustic panels are constructed of high density (6lbs/pcf) rigid glass wool with resin hardened edges. The edge treatment works in tandem with the micro-mesh to fully encapsulate and contain the glass fibers. The outer fabric covering is acoustically transparent polyester and available in three neutral colors for an architecturally attractive appearance.

Installation is easy with the included mouting hardware. We even supply the screws, drywall anchors and drill bit to get you started fast.

Broadway panels have been tested to meet stringent class-1 fire ratings making them suitable for use in residential and commercial spaces.

EVID 4.2 is a very compact full range loudspeaker ideal for indoor and outdoor applications requiring high-quality sound. It’s shape and size make it nearly invisible for use in background/foreground music systems for restaurants, bars, patios, retail, and other applications

The 4.2’s three-dimensional elliptic baffle symmetrically locates the 1” Ti high frequency element with a Coherent Coverage Waveguide in front of, and between the 4” low frequency drivers. This careful shaping, location, and 10° splaying of the lf units provides coverage control by the resulting line array. Lobing is controlled by physically “shadowing” the lf transducers from each other over the bandwidth they would normally exhibit interference. EVID’s mounting system provides greater range of aiming angles in both horizontal and vertical planes than other types. The curved grille features designed-in weather resistance and a hidden leash for safety.

All models are available in black or white, and can easily be painted to match the décor. Transformer versions are also available for constant voltage systems.
