A revolution in soundThe Vivo²’s sound is its best feature, thanks to the advanced TBV audio system which gives you:
A violin you can really work withThe multi-processor control allows fast, easy control of volume and tone via finger-light touch buttons incorporated within the violin body. The processor memory stores all of your settings, even if the battery is removed.
If you’re really looking to attract attention, you can even use these controls to illuminate your playing. The Vivo² has a built-in sound to light facility, which incorporates two vertical banks of super bright LEDs, integrated into the body of the violin (only available on transparent colours). Light pulses along the length of the instrument, complimenting your playing. Of course, the lights can be turned off if not required.~Vivo 2|TBVIVO2|~9454~9462~Vivo,Violin,Ted,Brewer~

The Ashworth violin transducer bridge is designed to deliver a more natural sound by stimulating body resonance with the pick-up itself, but still protecting from feedback.
Your Crossbow can be customised to your requirements and a choice of colour detail over clear is available as well as solid colour violins. You can also choose between 4 and 5 string models.

The history Ted spent 4 years making violins following that first commission in 1993. He experimented with shape and materials, with unusual design and with audio systems until he found a model that he felt made the best of his expertise in violin design and the materials and technology available. By 1997, Ted was selling his creations, and they were attracting attention. In 1999, Ted was invited to exhibit at the Bracknell Music Festival, producing an exhibition called ‘Sculptured Sound’. He also exhibited at the National Centre for Popular Music in Sheffield, the only electronic violin maker to do so.
From strength to strengthIt was in 2001 that he received a commission from Vanessa Mae. She was keen to use a sculpted acrylic violin model on her forthcoming album, ‘Subject to Change’. Ted was thrilled with the commission and produced a customised Crossbow violin. His instruments now sell across the world, having achieved a reputation for excellent sound quality and visual impact.
Today Today, Ted’s workshop in Rotherham produces around 25 hand made violins each year. Increased demand is reflected in the production of the Vivo², which is sold by selected stockists. The Crossbow and Hades violins remain customised designs produced individually, to order, at the workshop. Ted’s violins retain a handcrafted quality which make his modern designs unique. You can visit Ted Brewer’s workshop by appointment. Just call us and make arrangements to visit and see how it’s done.~~~9454~9460~~
